A Pop of Color Events was founded in 2017 when Christina Gunter realized her passion for planning and decided to open her own business to share her creativity with the world. Her focus is on upscale social events and luxe celebrations to allow you, the host, to enjoy!

Christina has over a decade of experience in planning top-notch large-scale events, black tie Galas, and intimate social gatherings.
She loves tying in fun and quirky elements to each event she plans and it is her attention to detail, love of creating the “wow factor”, and a true passion for a flawless event that drove her to open A Pop of Color Events.
She is cool under pressure and caters to the discerning client who is looking for a refined and inspired experience guests won’t soon forget!

Christina is a Certified Wedding & Event Planner (CWEP). She received her certification from the University of Richmond and the Lovegevity Wedding Planning Institute.
Fun Fact: Christina is a sports fanatic and worked in Minor League Baseball for seven seasons (including the Richmond Flying Squirrels!), planning and creating memorable and fun events and experiences for thousands, all while entertaining from the microphone during games as mistress of ceremonies!
